Here at boohoo we touch every part of the business and you will be pleasantly surprised that it is not just suits and flipcharts, in fact it's far from it! We have a diverse energetic and approachable team, who are always there to help and assist anyone and everyone within the business.
HR is more than just a personnel function, we have a dedicated in house recruitment team resourcing for all areas of the business ensuring we recruit the best people for the job. They are there to assist you with your application process and are there to make sure your on boarding process to becoming an employee is as smooth a process as possible. We know how stressful starting a new job can be, remember we've done it, so let us help you.
We also have a Learning & Development function which covers all aspects of training and support across the business delivering an efficient and effective plan, to ensure all employees are given the best opportunities to develop throughout their career. At boohoo the HR team are widespread across the business, so we have a function at Head Office and at our Operations Centre to ensure all employees are happy and engaged.

Thing you love most about your job: I love that I can see the impact that my role has on the business. Heading up our Digital Marketing Team, Sophie and Eleanor look after our online channels covering PPC, affiliates, online advertising, SEO, emails and CRM programmes. For Sophie, the best thing about boohoo is "the team – it’s such a great bunch of people to work with."
Eleanor has been here just over two years and progressed from a Marketing Executive to Performance Marketing Manager. Her biggest achievement so far is making it into The Drum’s ‘Top 50 Digital Women Under 30’; testament to Eleanor’s talent, passion and dedication every day which shows you really "get rewarded for what you do."

Working across a wide network within head office, the Studio produces thousands of creative assets right here at boohoo HQ.
Incorporating the art of styling, photography, film, reprographics, set build and creative direction, the team is made up of a those with a great eye for detail, spotting new trends and staying one step ahead of the competition.

How did you get your job: I started as a Sample Co-Ordinator in the Studio, organising the rails and steaming the product ready for shoots. I made myself available for anything and everything! A year later, I was promoted to Gallery Stylist and have never looked back.
Best boohoo memory: I've been lucky enough to travel around the world; co-hosting an infomercial in Miami would probably be my highlight. I stepped in for the presenter which was daunting at first, but the camera shyness soon disappeared. The whole experience was a LOT of fun.
Who inspires you? My team. I'm surrounded by creative people all day every day; we're all really individual, with different styles, personalities and ideas, but we come together to create a shared vision for the brand that we all love

Our design team seeks inspiration from across the world to bring catwalk and street trends to life. From working on moodboards each season to developing trend packs and looking at muses that embody each of our brands, Design is fully immersed in conception through to delivery. And yes, that does mean that international travel is part of your day job…
Working closely with the product team – buying, merchandising and QA – as well as cross-functions, the Design team is first to see our product come to life. Phasing and dropping trends through the seasons and looking out for key shapes in each trend to build out the ranges, the team offers up a brand new collection each week, whilst refreshing our core basics lines. With the world of fashion, things move – fast! The Design team is constantly on the look out for newness to add into the brand mix, referencing celebrity style along and finding emerging trends from festivals and events across the season.

The eCommerce team looks after our digital shop front, getting to know what customers want so they can give them the best experience. By truly understanding our customers through employing a rigorous user testing programme and intuitively interpreting data analytics, the team is there to deliver a first-class customer experience to keep you coming back for more. Defined into four key areas of trade, international trade, UX and visual merchandising, the team manages 14 sites, getting to know the differences between each.
From day-to-day site management, making improvements to functionality and resolving any issues, to creating engaging and witty product copy and merchandising the site daily to reflect current product and trends, the eCommerce team is reactive, innovative and always ready for a challenge. Pioneers of our Test & Repeat model, the Merchandising team drives our trading strategy, working closely with Buying, QA and Design to ensure we deliver the right product at the right time.
As part of the wider operations functions, Merchandising is based on a product-centric structure, servicing and optimising the ranges we plan to buy and trade with our customers. And unlike other businesses, boohoo's Merchandisers have the opportunity to travel with the buyers to meet our supply base.
There's still a lot to do as the team evolves, growing at a rate of knots while at the same time looking for new ways to make the process more robust.

Joining boohoo three and a half years ago, Leanne was one of our first merchandisers and has seen the business and her team grow rapidly.
Now overseeing the dresses function, Leanne is responsible for maximising sales and profitability of thousands of lines arriving on site along with two assistant merchandisers.

Our Technical team is at the heart of the product development process, working with the design and buying teams to deliver fantastic products to our customers every day. Setting the quality standards for boohoo, the Garment Technologists look after their own product area to develop skills and expertise that really make a difference. From drawing up specifications to managing the fit process, they work with the Senior Technologists who oversee new projects and drive improvements through the supply base.
Our in-house Fit Models are our real customer champions - they see things from the customer's perspective, helping us to not only understand how each item fits but also what it's like to wear. Guiding the QC team during AQL inspections, the QA managers report back to boohoo on quality standards. this role is pivotal in ensuring that what we've approved here is what we send to customers.

From discovering global trends and the seasons must have silhouettes, to building strong relations with our international supply source, our buying team are commercially minded yet love fashion, knowing the ins and outs of the markets in which we trade.
Our unique test and repeat model means we move with the market. Working closely with design, merchandising, eCommerce and marketing, the buying team ensures the product visions and strategy results in a strong global offering.
Everyone in buying has a voice, and whether you're a BAA or Senior Buyer you'll be given your own areas of responsibility as soon as you join – your decisions really will count.
Can you keep the pace?
Favourite part of your job: Being able to react to the market with speed. Something which other business cannot do. Also watching company best sellers come from my ideas.
Best boohoo memory: Hitting milestones sales targets. And watching sales grow.
If you weren't a buyer, what would you be?: There is nothing. I have my dream job. Since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a fashion buyer.
Each of our support functions is dedicated and passionate. Building and maintaining cross-departmental relationships, they service the needs of the business, customers and the entire boohoo team.
Our Legal and Procurement teams consist of industry professionals who work to maintain our business success. Supporting all purchasing activities across the company, they provide legal advice, keep track of value for money, and ensure the brand is successful yet remains protected.
Our unique Facilities department ranges from Security Support to Maintenance; they keep our working environment safe and help us to prepare for all company meeting and events. We even have our own head office restaurant ‘The Attic’ where our catering team keep us coffee fuelled and provide a first-class service every day.
Intake is support function at boohoo, managing and overseeing all imported goods, taking into account cost and arranging of deliveries. Helping to service boohoo’s rapid expansion, the team also takes into account shipments from overseas, tracking journeys from start to finish.
