 We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and customer focused individual to join the boohoo team.
Job Summary

• Working as part of the facilities team to provide logistics support, delivering and collecting consignments to the Burnley distribution centre, collecting building and other materials from suppliers, supporting PR, Press and studio when running off site events.
• Taking responsibility for routine checks on the Boohoo pool cars based at Manchester office.
• Provide a “find and fix” service in the Boohoo offices to pro actively identify faults and issues e.g. failed lamps in order to maintain fittings and equipment and generally improve the working environment for colleagues.
• Assist with the small projects programme to carry out cosmetic uplifts around the building eg minor redecoration of heavily trafficked areas such as stairwells, toilets, kitchens, replacing broken bathroom fittings, etc These are the jobs that are always expensive to have contractors do but also if left unattended result in the office looking scruffy.
• Support security staff at staff parties and functions if required;
• Support BAU office refurbishment projects and office moves to ensure minimal disruption to staff and department heads including the assembly, positioning and moving of furniture within and across the Head Office buildings;
• Assist the Facilities Manager to monitor service standards in all Head Office areas, including catering, cleaning and rest rooms;
• Support the Facilities team in keeping the building and surrounding grounds clean and maintained at all times;
• Ensure general office furniture/equipment (non IT) maintenance work is carried out effectively and efficiently; escalating to suppliers where necessary.
• Support the Facilities Manager by ensuring any changes to the disaster recovery plan are followed through;
• Support the Catering and Hospitality Manager in preparing for company events and staff parties including sourcing of stock, layout of venue/rooms, security back-up and other related ad-hoc tasks;
• Accompany contractors on site where necessary.
• Ad-hoc un-planned or emergency cleaning tasks when required.


• Good DIY/handyman skills
• Ability to deal tactfully, calmly and effectively with a wide range of people from both within and outside of the organisation;
• Reliable and flexible approach – willing and happy to assist front line colleagues, occasionally out of office hours
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure with a high level of organisational proficiency, common sense and initiative;
• Accuracy and attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow departmental procedures;
• Team player.

• Ensure that all employees within the Head Office buildings work in a safe manner and fully understands the fire, emergency and health & safety procedures of the workplace;
• Ensure that all potential and real hazards are taken care of immediately, and are reported appropriately;

Qualifications, Experience and Professional Membership:

• Experience in manual handling, ability to cope with complex building layout including lack of lifts in places
• Competent DIYer.
• Professional and discreet at all times with proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
• Full driving license
