German Communications Assistant - (Berlin)

The Role:

Working with the Communication Manager in Berlin and alongside the International and Marketing teams at Manchester HQ, you will deal with some of our communication tools and in particular our Social Media and our Influencers / Press activations in Germany. You will also work on the German events organisation, in the Boohoo Berlin showroom and throughout the brand partnerships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Management of the Boohoo showroom: influencers & press demands/events organization.

• Managing relationships with the German Boohoo ambassadors: coordination of the brand action plan.

• Assist in the development and optimization of local marketing campaigns and partnerships with OOH, TV campaigns and sponsoring.

• Be the brand voice on our local social media networks, in particular our Facebook and Instagram page; coordination of the local social ad campaigns.

• Produce written content for our communication such as email, web pages, and customer relations.

• Provide support on any other communication actions.

• Reporting and analytics.

 

The skills you will need:

• A degree in either Communications, Web Marketing, Social Media, Marketing-Communications, PR.

• You are a social media specialist.

• You are an open minded person, willing to work and acquire professional experiences in an international and multi-cultural environment.

• A responsible person, proactive mind set, independent way of working, self-motivated, good team spirit, appreciates contact with colleagues & partners.

• An intense interest in fashion and related fields i.e. music / arts / beauty / film and television

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• Native German speaker and fluent English is a must
