As the business continues to grow, our workforce grows with it! We are expanding our IT team based in our distribution centre in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity to join the fastest growing e-commerce organisation in the country!

As a 1st Line Support Analyst working as a part of a team, you will support and manage the existing server/network and desktop environment as well as being involved in various IT projects as the company looks to update and improve their infrastructure. You will primarily operate the helpdesk, liaise with internal customers and suppliers, record and monitor system issues resolving or escalating when required. Working at our Burnley site with multiple buildings, all based within short walking distance from each other.

The normal working hours are 6pm - 6am on 3 on/3 off shift pattern.
 
Job Summary:

To maintain all IT Systems to a high standard ensuring operational availability and to respond effectively to all helpdesk requests.

What would you do: 
  • Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages.
  • To be responsible for an area of technical expertise
  • Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors and peripheral such as printers, scanners and related hardware as required for new installation and office reconfiguration
  • Act as a technical resource to assist the business users
  • Maintain current knowledge of hardware, software and network technologies
  • Manage tickets using our support portal and be able to prioritise tickets in severity level

What we are looking for:

  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • Windows 7/10 & Office 365
  • LAN/WAN, Networking (TCP/IP, VPN)
  • MS Exchange 2010/2013
  • Wireless Technology – Android Mobile devices
  • experience in working with WMS 
  • Manage-engine or anything similar
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ideally with SCCM/PBX/Windows Server experience, but not essential.
