What are we looking for?  
The boohooMAN team are now seeking a talented Ecommerce Assistant to join the team based in our Manchester office in Ancoats. Reporting into the Ecommerce Manager, you will be tasked with providing support to the Ecommerce department ensuring that we achieve our sales plan through management of on-site promotional activity and content.

Job Summary:     


We’re looking for an Ecommerce Trading Assistant to implement the day to day trading activity on the websites globally. This involves executing the promotional plan across the group of websites ensuring all promotional activity goes live correctly. This role will monitor the ongoing performance of promotions making any recommendations for change and feeding this back to team members and managers as appropriate. A key part of trading the websites is understanding the website performance. You will use web analytics tools and work with the Insight Team to monitor performance of all the key elements of the website in order to understand the success of the promotional programme and make recommendations for changes on a daily basis.    
  You will demonstrate an awareness of the different requirements in each different market through understanding of analytics and performance information. As part of this you will also undertake research on competitors and the different consumer expectations of each market and feed this back to the Ecommerce Manager and other members of the team and overall business.     


Tasks, duties & responsibilities:     


  • Implement the execution of the website promotional plan across all websites.
  • Work with the html code to set promotional banners and onsite content live
  • Monitor web analytics and help produce reports to measure performance and make recommendations for change.
  • Work with the user experience team to identify areas of improvement across the websites.
  • Work closely with IT and Marketing to delivery effective content changes and promotions across the websites.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the different markets and adapt trading activity to maximize sales for the different customers in each market.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on competitors in the different markets and the trading conditions and send this information to Ecommerce Managers and team members as appropriate.   

Your Skills: 

  • Dynamic and adaptable
  • Computer literate
  • Ecommerce or retail experience is desirable
  • Experience working with Sales force Commerce Cloud
  • HTML knowledge is desirable but not essential
