Our Customer Service department is currently looking for a passionate Trainer, experienced in delivering either work based training or in teaching, to join our friendly team in Burnley! Working as part of a fast paced Customer Service Team Training team, you will be a role model and advocate of Learning and development. As a trainer you will have knowledge of the full Training Cycle and be able to demonstrate this at all stages. You will show confidence in your delivery and be ahead of the game with different learning methodologies.

To make a great trainer you must have the ability to communicate effectively to individuals with different learning styles and be able to create learning that appeals to all styles.

The Person...

Confident and energetic with a strong desire to develop others and yourself. As a trainer you must approachable and personable and have confidence in your own ability. You will be the face of boohoo for all our new starters so you need to able to create a great first impression, as well as be a warm and welcoming to people and demonstrate an abundance of enthusiasm in and out of the training room.

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, between 9am-6pm, however you will need to have a flexibility to cover other shifts within 24/7 contact centre if required.
Some of the things that you will do...
  • Work with team managers and advisors to identify who would benefit from additional learning
  • Work with Training Team to help create a learning content that is engaging and on brand
  • Maintain own knowledge of processes for both brands by completing operational days
  • Ensure all Induction content is kept up to date with changes to processes, policies and any other internal changes
  • Escalate any out of scope issues to Training Manager
  • Pro-actively identify knowledge gaps following the implementation of any major change or training and provide constructive feedback.
  • Design training content using different methods such as e learning
  • Ensure all design is on brand
  • Create learning that has learning objectives that address the knowledge, skills and attitude that the learner will need to address as part of the session
  • Create organised training materials such as trainer notes and session plans that are logical for your internal colleagues and outsource colleagues to follow.
