Job Summary:
boohoo Group is looking for a Solicitor to assist in managing boohoo Groups legal and regulatory obligations and to minimise legal and commercial risk to the business. The role will be wide and varied as for any in-house role. The solicitor will need to be capable of negotiating high and low value commercial supply / IT contracts and managing competing priorities of a wide and varied commercial work load.
The solicitor will need to work pro-actively to ensure provision of effective legal service to the Boohoo Group business.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Shall include the following and such other tasks as the business / head of legal may require:
• Commercial contracts
• IP work – contentious and non-contentious
• Consumer law / website terms and conditions
• Advertising, media and marketing promotions
• Corporate work
• Compliance work required to support a growing international business
• To work with a variety of business stakeholders to manage legal risk and compliance effectively within the Boohoo business
• Other tasks outside a strictly “legal” role will sometimes be required because of the nature of the business
