This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join our IT department as we support the business growth and innovation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working on the Supply Chain and Warehouse Portfolio to focus on the delivery of projects and the control of our Business / Operational processes
  • Facilitate teams and work closely with Developers and Testers to estimate and plan work across multiple teams on regular intervals
  • Utilising both Agile, Iterative and Waterfall project delivery skills
  • Work with product owner to ensure correct priorities are delivered to deadlines.
  • Use Agile and Lean principles throughout the whole project lifecycle to deploy software solutions
  • Prioritise and escalate to Head of Tech function
  • Identify goals, plan work, and lead teams through to delivery
  • Manage risks and issues as and when they arise
  • Estimate and work with other managers to plan delivery
  • Facilitate daily sprint / project sessions
  • Follow the development of the project at each stage and communicate the results

     

    Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing projects following Agile, Waterfall and Lean delivery methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant industry experience
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility to work on several different projects concurrently
  • 2-3 years’ experience of working extensively with Scrum and Agile
  • Experience of JIRA
  • Cross Functional team experience
  • Experience of working within the retail industry would be desirable but not essential
  • To be able to delegate work tasks and document the state of the work
  • To prioritise and execute work tasks in a busy work environment
  • Experience of working with remote teams
  • Delivery focused Scrum Master
