Job Summary:

The Job holder is responsible for managing all aspects of data & analytics for the Boohoo Group.

Tasks, duties & responsibilities:

  • Champion Data as a corporate asset, increasing Data Literacy across boohoo group.


  • Establish a Data Governance framework for boohoo group to maximise data benefits and minimize data burden and risks (GDPR).


  • Manage the Analytics/BI and data science teams across the Manchester and Burnley sites (currently 11 FTE).


  • Ensure standardisation of reporting across Group brands, in both data logic and front end. Also ensure an appropriate mix of Group and brand specific reporting.


  • Ensure the Group has accurate, timely and user friendly MI and flexible reporting tools to support commercial decision making, both in real time and for periodic reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).


  • Work with IT to manage and develop the infrastructure which supports BI & Analytics.


  • Work with IT to ensure appropriate data access / security across analytics platforms and distributed reports, including GDPR compliance.


  • Develop and maintain data science solutions that can add commercial value for the Group, using both the in-house team and third party partners. Current data science use cases include digital marketing attribution, email optimisation (next purchase prediction) and rebuy optimisation.


  • Provide timely, accurate operational BI to warehouse and customer service functions.


  • Ad hoc business analysis as required, working with the Commercial Finance teams in support of Product/Marketing teams.




  • 12+ years’ BI/Analytics experience.


  • Experience of delivering data-centric organisation change.


  • Great communicator with demonstrable experience of influencing senior management on meaningful data behaviour
