As a product manager you will have great people and organisational skills to build a crossroad between technology, our business teams and the user experience. You will be imperial to the team to clarify user needs via insight and architecture; talk with and listen to our business customers and colleagues, and own products across our core functions, trading and commercial areas. You will build a roadmap for the product, prioritise effectively and remove blockers so your multidisciplinary team can discover and create products that are easy to use, feasible to build, and loved by our customers and colleagues.

What the role will involve:

  • Build requirements with our business stakeholders to define a roadmap and grow the function
  • Align outcomes in the roadmap with our strategy
  • Spot opportunities for innovation and efficiency
  • Define how your products get held to account, and make sure those metrics get tracked, including commercial accountability
  • Get people excited about what you’re going to make so they can be your champions and early adopters
  • Articulate your product vision to the team, and break up its delivery into meaningful, achievable goals
  • Translate user needs into compelling stories to define user flows and interactions, and developers can use to build the product
  • Plan the pipeline and make sure wherever possible, tech and design patterns are reused
  • Lead, organise, inspire and unblock designers, developers, data scientists and others within the multidisciplinary team with sharp analysis and well-communicated decisions
  • Consider, define and track the cost and benefits of products that are worked on to ensure that our benefits are properly tracked and realised


    The skills we are looking for:

  • Experience of agile development/delivery teams and BA skills
  • A background contributing to the delivery of online retailing
  • A strong personality, well-informed opinions and able to take people on a journey with your ideas, but open to being convinced otherwise through discussion and debates with your teammates
  • Collaborative personality with strong influence skills with people across different levels and backgrounds
  • Be able to present your vision to stakeholders and the team
  • Passionate to learn and develop your skills
