Job Summary:


To support the Buying & merchandising function in order to ensure all relevant stakeholders have accurate and insightful data which can directly, proactively and consistently assist in decision making relating to maximising profitability and contributing to overall business strategy and growth.


Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities;


  • Analyses data and makes recommendations for improving Merchandising Operations e.g. Intake, Stock optimisation.
  • Design and deliver periodic/ weekly reporting highlighting Risks & opportunities whilst monitoring key KPIs
  • Work alongside Merchandising, Buyingto be able improve reporting and analysis


  • Is proactive and plays a key role in developing the appropriate Buying & Merch reporting to support optimal decisions to be made to achieve best results
  • Efficiency on regular analysis/insight work on where this work can be automated.

  • Analyse Sale and promotion periods to establish optimum pricing/discounts to achieve desired results.
  • Centrally manage Pricing actions for promotional periods
  • Lead and deliver pricing analysis on product portfolio for each key international territory against competitors
  • Using Excel, SQL to extract insights from data


  • Work with other analytical reporting teams like BI




  • Proven experience in an analytical/insight role, ideally with a Merchandise/Product focus
  • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Advanced competency in Excel as well as familiarity with SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving aptitude, attention to detail and strong organisational capability
  • Able to work under pressure to react to changing commercial and seasonal requirements

  • Ensure productive relationships between merchandising function and all other key business areas to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Excellent people skills and has ability to work cross functionally.
  • Delivers key information at the right time, to the right people.






  • Is an ambassador for the brand
  • Attends and contributes effectively in training, meetings and other events as requested by direct manager or senior management, including Head of Human Resources.
  • Assists colleagues by completing tasks outside own job role when requested, including supporting associated companies.
  • Always strives to improve the department’s operation and increase knowledge of own and related job functions.
