About the role

Due to internal progression and continued growth we are looking for a new member of our HR team.

The key focus of this role is to provide effective employee relations (ER) advice to employees and leaders across the Burnley distribution site. Key stakeholders will include Departmental and Shift Managers.

This role operates within a fast paced and dynamic HR team on a large multi-functional site with circa 2,000 colleagues.

In addition to providing outstanding ER advise, this role will also support the HR Manager with ongoing projects, process reviews and ad hoc administrative tasks.

The right candidate

  • Enthusiastic with strong communication and relationship building capabilities
  • Strong team player, who enjoys working within a dynamic HR team
  • Ability to work closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide advice and influence
  • Significant experience of complex and high volume employee relations cases
  • Previous experience within a distribution centre / manufacturing sector is preferable
  • Previous experience in a unionised environment is preferable
  • Ability to work at pace within a HR and multitask, work to deadlines, prioritise under pressure and use own initiative
  • Experience of HR data and analytics would be beneficial
  • Experience of delivering HR / ER workshops to leaders would be beneficial
