Summary

As part of Boohoo’s central data analytics function and working closely with our Operations & Customer Services teams across the group, this is an exciting opportunity for a data professional to join and have a substantial impact in a dynamic and growing business.

This role will involve working consultatively with a large base of stakeholders across multiple brands and providing clear and engaging insights into a wide variety of topics including customer service, carrier management and supply chain logistics.

You will be working directly for the lead Ops/CS Data Warehouse Developer supported by the wider Insight & Analytics Team to develop reporting and self-service solutions using Qlik / MS SSRS and other technologies and is critical to helping us make data more quickly accessible and transferrable into meaningful management information and insight. 

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain insightful and user friendly reports and dashboards.
  • Explore and analyse big datasets, perform deep analysis and use great communication skills to relay findings in a simple and understandable way.
  • Work closely with our Operations & Customer Services teams to understand their objectives and proactively seek out opportunities for data/analytics to make an impact.
  • Work closely with our central data engineering team to communicate technical requirements as well as data processes and structures.
  • Working in an agile way to balance long term development projects with quick and responsive ad hoc requests and troubleshooting.
  • Work with various stakeholders and other insight functions across the business to offer support and expertise where needed.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Highly proficient using SQL to interrogate data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent data visualisation, interface/report design and presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and VBA.
  • Highly organised and process driven.
  • Self-motivated and with an enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Ambitious, driven individual who excels in challenging environments.

 

Additional Skills / Experience

  • Good working knowledge of SQL Server & SSRS Reports.
  • Experience using Qlik or similar to develop self-service analytics.
  • Any experience using Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery.
  • Experience working with supply chain, customer service and/or carrier management teams.
