Job Summary

The Job holder is responsible for understanding the full financial statements for the Boohoo group, interpreting and reporting performance to key stakeholders and offering commercial and technical recommendations to improve business performance.


Tasks, duties & responsibilities:

  • Ownership of monthly overhead reporting and relationships with brands and departments.
  • Create & maintain recharge schedule for group cost centres and work with management accounts team to ensure actuals are aligned to forecasts.
  • Review of month end numbers against forecasts and investigating variances.
  • Business partner to HR, to ensure accurate maintenance of reporting; including dept structures, headcount & cost reporting, recruitment pipeline etc.
  • Business partner to I.T, reporting on overall cost of department, including headcount, overhead and capex. Reviewing proposed changes and challenging as required.
  • Support with analysis of quarterly reforecast and 10 year plans.
  • Redesign brand overhead files as required.
  • Proactively look for savings opportunities and highlight risk areas.
  • Proactively seek to improve reporting and analysis to better support stakeholders.
  • Other ad hoc group analysis and reporting as required.



  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Strong commercial acumen and business awareness
  • Comfortable dealing with and influencing senior business stakeholders
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and present data to produce meaningful information
  • Experience in a commercial setting (retail/ecommerce preferred)
