Your Role
We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner- IT to join and support the Talent Team in driving the delivery of our People Plan from a Resourcing perspective, attracting and selecting the best candidates. The purpose of the role is to manage the end to end recruitment process for bringing exceptional talent into the Boohoo Family, ensuring the full range of recruitment and onboarding activities are delivered to a high standard. From creating and executing resource plans that improve the quality and diversity of candidates recruited to enhancing our current rate of direct hire, driving our employer brand and at the same time delivering a market leading recruitment experience; this really is an all-encompassing role.
This exciting and challenging opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable recruiting across multiple departments and disciplines, preferably with in-house recruitment experience. We have exciting and ambitious plans for 2021 and therefore experience of managing recruitment-based projects and identifying areas of improvement in ways of working will be advantageous.
What you'll do
  • Accountable for the full recruitment lifecycle from drafting job descriptions/adverts with hiring managers to researching and headhunting prospective candidates, advertising roles on relevant channels, screening and shortlisting CVs, managing and conducting interviews right through to onboarding
  • Responsible for taking a full and comprehensive brief for each vacancy to gain a deep understanding of the relevant business area and team for which the hiring manager is recruiting
  • Being the first point of contact for any hiring manager concerns or queries, working to resolve these directly in the first instance and escalating to Head of HR if necessary
  • Supporting and directing hiring managers on recruitment best practice, interview and selection techniques, and working with our L&D Business Partner to deliver training and build manager confidence within this arena
  • Ensuring a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates is transmitted throughout every step of the recruitment process, suggesting and implementing improvements as necessary
  • Providing valuable and constructive feedback to all candidates, whether successful or unsuccessful in their journey
  • Responsible for identifying ways to reduce the usage of agencies to increase our rate of direct hire, pro-actively sourcing direct candidates, screening to assess competencies and motivations
  • Maintaining strong relationships with our partnered recruitment agencies, liaising with them where applicable, managing fee negotiation and effective communication from both parties to ensure all candidates receive positive and timely feedback
  • Maintaining and driving our Employer Brand through relevant communications using a wide range of channels, both online and physical
  • Identifying ways to widen our community network, building external relationships and partnering with schools, colleges and universities in creating educational awareness and identifying opportunities for early talent
  • Focusing on attraction strategies to encourage a more diverse talent pool
  • Working with the L&D Business Partner to develop and implement an industry-leading Graduate and Intern programme
  • Managing the onboarding for all new colleagues from offer to first day, creating offer and welcome packs, ensuring documents are completed and returned prior to joining the Company and systems are kept up to date
  • Managing the DBS, reference and eligibility process, ensuring compliance at all times and providing a monthly status report to the HR Advisors and Head of HR
  • Working closely with the HR Advisors, conducting meetings with new joiners to gain feedback on the hiring and onboarding process etc.
  • Ensuring the Applicant Tracking System is kept up to date for reporting purposes
  • Monitoring recruitment activity on a monthly basis and providing analysis/key reports to the wider team
  • Pro-actively seeking to identify ways to create efficiencies within the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Leading and driving forward internal value-added projects:
    • Developing and implementing a new market-leading careers site, reflective of the Brand and Company culture
    • Reviewing the current internal referral programme
What you've got
  • Experience in an IT Recruitment role within a fast-paced environment ideally from an agency
  • Excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to operate at a fast pace and manage fluctuating demands
  • Examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member
  • Confident advising managers on all aspects of recruitment
  • A professional and commercial approach to recruitment with the ability to deliver a market leading, memorable experience
