Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role involves the development and execution of the Global PR strategy for boohooMAN. The strategy must look at a diverse range of channels, primarily for the purpose of building and driving brand awareness. Focusing on securing celebrity talent on a global scale.

The perfect candidate would have executed a high volume of multi-channel influencer & PR campaigns and immersed an understanding of the latest trends across Menswear.

This role is carried out in support of the overall marketing strategy and goals, it involves closely liaising with both brand, social and digital teams to ensure that activity and partnerships are in keeping with the brand identity.

Tasks, duties & responsibilities:

Primary aims and responsibilities:

  • Daily management of the PR & Influencer team sharing best practice to garner highest results
  • Handling talent negotiations and ensuring campaigns are in line with objectives set whether that be brand awareness, conversion and sales
  • Lead PR strategy and go-to contact for editor level relationships
  • Drive brand awareness through creative media partnerships
  • Develop global PR strategy, multi-platform in order to increase SOV amongst our competitor set
  • Propose creative and industry leading events from a media and influencer perspective
  • Develop creative and innovative celebrity / talent campaigns alongside Head of Marketing
  • Manage multi-brand campaigns utilising network of influencers to deliver success
  • Develop innovative, creative and unique approaches to influencer marketing
  • Communicate results internally, reporting and provide the business with regular detailed updates
  • Manage the build and maintenance of the boohooMAN influencer and media database
  • Setting KPIs and ensuring team understand expectations
  • Work with Senior Leadership Team and sharing industry trends
  • Identifying new talent for the roster and matching talent with right brand partner to ensure brand consistency
  • Management of PR & Influencer budgets, ensuring spend is aligned with business objectives and strategy


  • Update and distribute monthly and weekly reporting on both influencer and PR activity
  • Post reporting on stand-alone projects, events and campaigns
  • Conduct regular competitor research to ensure boohooMAN communications strategy remains ahead of the competitive set.

Working with the team:

  • Communicates effectively to achieve the goals of the PR & Influencer team alongside the wider marketing team.
  • Utilises self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proactively delivers job related training for all department members.


    • Is an ambassador for the brand.
    • Attends training, meetings and other events as requested by direct manager or senior management, including Head of Human Resources
    • Assists colleagues by completing tasks outside own job role when requested, including supporting associated companies
    • Always strives to improve the department’s operation and increase knowledge of own and related job functions.

Skills required:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience with PR, Influencer Comms or similar role, fashion retail experience is beneficial
    • A deep understanding of the role that social influencers can play in promoting and driving commercial value for brands
    • Be familiar with current and emerging social media platforms
    • Passion for communications, social media and retail marketing in general
    • An intense interest in fashion and related fields i.e. music / arts / film and television
    • Strong communication skills both internally and externally. The role involves liaising with colleagues, influencers, and management, so strong written and verbal skills are paramount.
