Rewarding, visionary and fast paced – our HR Department are looking for a Group Reward and Benefits Specialist to join our passionate, agile and creative team based in London or Manchester with flexibility to work from home.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Reward and Benefits Specialist to contribute towards the development and delivery of compensation and benefits across the boohoo Group.  

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the reward strategy, ensuring that policy and practice is legally compliant and aligned to the boohoo Group and people strategies, • Contribute to the implementation of new and existing reward programmes and initiatives providing advice and direction to the business and the HR team.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, identifying and recommending opportunities for simplification, alignment, or improvement
  • Review our existing programmes and partners annually to ensure we remain market competitive and relevant, managing scheme renewals and negotiating competitive packages
  • Support the delivery of annual reward programmes and processes (e.g. annual salary review, bonus scheme administration and payments; in addition to our Group share schemes administration, launch timelines and communication plan, working in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders amongst the business)

 • Prepare and submit data to selected benchmarking surveys and recommend other benchmark sources where there may be a benefit to the Company.

• Manage the administration of the Company's healthcare schemes working with external third-parties, escalating issues as required.

• Support the administration of the overall organisation design process, encompassing job evaluation and sizing and benchmarking.

  • Support the management of our pension schemes

• Prepare data and materials for external reporting (e.g. Annual Report, Gender and Ethnicity pay reporting, equal pay audits and other ad hoc reports required by HR and senior management.

•Support external partner relationships, continually driving enhanced value from all contracts and ensuring quality service is delivered to the organisation.

  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that all benefits are correctly charged by providers and invoices are paid as per agreed terms
  • Collaborate with the HR Team to ensure reward programmes and initiatives are being applied consistently and appropriately across the Group
  • Work with the HR and Payroll Team to ensure enrolment of new employees, changes and terminations are actioned in a timely manner
  • Complete audits of benefit plans for accuracy

• Work with others in the wider HR team, business managers and other specialist areas to provide seamless support and expert advice

• Assist others in the wider HR team during periods of change/restructure.

 

International

  • Support with the development and delivery of international reward and benefits.
  • Liaise with benefit providers (current and new) as we enter new territories to ensure compliance and a competitive reward offering
  • Give international consideration to implications and implementation of decisions relating to pay, bonus and benefits

 

Knowledge and skills required:

• Ability to develop high performance cultures

• Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Broad understanding of general HR practices and arrangements relating to reward and benefits.

• Experience of benchmarking pay and benefits, and using job evaluation and grading processes.

• Good understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and standards/requirements related to reward.

• Team player, well-organised, and readily able to manage own workload and act on initiative to achieve deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with and influence people at all levels across the group
