Role Description

As a Shift Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading the operations team on site and delivery of the overall operational KPI’s for the shift. You will have the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver great results for the site and a fantastic service for our customers. You will also ensure operational excellence, Health & Safety compliance, high colleague engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate and develop Team Managers
  • Responsible for KPI performance and operational targets
  • Assist with delivery of the site engagement & communication plan
  • Lead Continuous Improvement, generating new ideas, sharing best practice and working as one team across the site
  • Identifying and highlighting further opportunities for services and process improvements
  • Implement and maintain high standards of all Health & Safety procedures in line with the Boohoo policy
  • Have a good understanding of profit and loss, delivering in line with customer forecast and budget
  • Implement and maintain effective communication process within shifts/contracts/site.
  • Ensure availability of consumables and equipment, plan and execute transport requirements.
  • Successfully delivering and managing peak trading periods
  • Responsible for commercial performance of the shift against budget

Skills Required

  • Significant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Comfortable communicating with internal management team
  • Ability to use influencing skills and strategies to build buy-in for change
  • Strong communication skills
