As Store Manager you will develop marketing plans for local brand campaigns, working with cross-functional teams within Head Office to foster brand building and increase brand awareness. You will also maintain an in-depth knowledge of trends, places and people who are impacting and influencing the target audience.

A bit about the role

The Store Manager will work with Head Office to coordinate brand launch initiatives and analyse brand campaign performance as well as market competition. You will identify and execute national brand partnerships that can drive additional reach to increase performance.

As Store manager you will manage a highly motivated team comprising of a Deputy Store Manager, Supervisor and multiple Brand Consultants. You will help coach, train and mentor your team.

You will need:

  • The ability to both lead a team and work as part of a wider unit
  • To deliver great service that our client base expects of the Debenhams Beauty brand
  • Driven by exceeding KPI’s
  • A good understanding of the functions of a professional beauty store and how the various elements come together to create a successful business
  • To be ambitious and always wanting to improve performance
  • A good work ethic and professional responsibility
  • Managing the end to end brand management within the store
  • Producing reports in Excel, using strong numeric skills and financial analysis
  • At least two years’ experience in a management or supervisory role
  • Experience in a beauty retail environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer complaints where appropriate
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Commercially aware with a passion for skincare and beauty
  • A confident and articulate communicator
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented
  • A team player who can relate well with all members of the team
