Job Summary: 
Responsible for the monitoring of online visual merchandising for the UK site and international sites. Ensuring we are representing the VM strategy and maintaining the company’s visual standards and expectations across all sites. A gate keeper for the look and feel of the site, and to how styles are presented to the BoohooMAN customer, both through our online categories and online features ensuring that all site product content is visually consistent and engaging.
As a senior eCommerce visual merchandiser you will be expected to help action day to day duties to ensure the department operates as expected. You will also mentor the other eCommerce visual merchandisers, working with the eCommerce Manager to provide direction and communicate objectives and priorities. This role includes deputising for the manager, acting as the most senior eCommerce visual merchandiser when the eCommerce manager is out of office. Therefore you must have excellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to manage issue resolution.
Working closely with buying, marketing and studio teams to ensure that boohooMAN priority styles are presented effectively to the customers whilst working with our online merchandisers and analyst to ensure that we balance visual requirements with boohooMAN's commercial KPI’s. You will need to liaise and build relationships with other departments in a more senior capacity, being a key contact for the buying team.

This role requires strong trend awareness to develop looks from the boohooMAN range to ensure we are reflecting customer buying trends and competing effectively with our high street and online competitors. 
• Presenting merchandise in an orderly, understandable and inspirational way to maximize conversion
• Making it easier for the customer to locate the desired category and merchandise.
• Making it possible for the shopper to co-ordinate & accessorise.
• Informing about the latest fashion trends by highlighting them at strategic locations.
• The senior visual merchandiser role will include research of both local and international competitor’s websites, always making sure we are keeping the site relevant for the different countries in terms of weather, trends and product choice.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for trading all of our onsite categories by ensuring the 1st few pages are merchandised to meet business requirements, ensuring that commercial KPI’s are met and conversion is maximised.
• Responsible for parts of the sites and pages which are automatically merchandised.
• Implement processes within the team to increase efficiency and accuracy e.g. process between studio / ecommerce for ‘wear it with’ cross sells.
• Competitor awareness, both on and offline – providing a regular report to the business on what’s happening on the high street, reporting on trends and trading conditions. From research developing fashion looks to ensure boohooMAN's product is well represented on the site, including collections
• ‘Passionate, Agile, Creative, Team’
• ‘Gatekeepers’ of the boohooMAN taxonomy to ensure all products are allocated the correct attributes to enable them to find products on our website.
• Actioning changes and monitoring issues until resolution.
• New technology – responsible for completing changes requests to make improvements to the site, communicating technical issues to the IT team and ensuring all changes are completed to requirements.
• Using analytics data from our insight team to make informed commercial decisions.
• Develop close working relationships with, studio, marketing and buying to ensure that all business priorities are met, ensure that communication between the teams is regular and productive. You will need to influence decision making within these departments.
• Work with Ecommerce Publisher to ensure all products are published in a timely fashion, managing daily priorities with studio and buying.
• Use appropriate tools to ensure that customers using the search tool find the most appropriate products for their search term.
