Purpose of the Role:

Reporting into the Head of Product Operations you will be responsible for developing and delivering bespoke learning and development training programs ensuring that our Product (Buying and Merchandising) teams, including new recruits are adequately trained on systems and processes. Support in the implementation of any system, process or functional change that impacts on B&M.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Coordinate the development of training material as needed to enable successful implementation and utilization of processes or systems to Buying and Merchandising teams
  • Develop and implement role-based curriculum.
  • Execute training development programs.
  • Train on new system functionality and business processes changes.
  • Provide post Go-Live support to end users including drop in clinics, floor walking and refresher training sessions.
  • Assist in the creation of courses outlines, slide packs, quick reference guides job aids, instructor Power Point content.
  • Complete all required participant tracking, follow-up, and documentation.
  • Train on support tools and system environments.
  • Assist in development of training strategies, standards and tools.
  • Ensure Training Material is kept to up to date and inline with Business Processes
  • Responsible for the delivery of end user training.
  • Provide Weekly Status Reports and metrics to senior manager

Skills

  • Experience in training on multiple systems essential
  • Ability to be able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Experience in UAT (user acceptance testing)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Effective communication skills to work with subject matter experts in the delivery of systems and process training.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Working knowledge of database applications such as MS Office(Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and an ability to learn technology quickly.
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Ability to design, deliver and evaluate training.
  • Ability to explain  IT applications in simple user friendly language.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • A solution driven, self-starter with commitment and follow through.
