Job Summary:

6 Months Maternity FTC - with possible extention to 12 Months 

The Styling Manager leads the output of the styling function within the business in ensuring that the styling in the gallery is reflective of the brands unique identity. The role requires a strong leader who can support a team to deliver at pace and will require collaboratively working namely with the buying team on ensuring trends and delivered on site in an elevated yet wearable way.

The candidate will need to ensure that product is managed throughout the studio process and take responsibility for styling output on a daily basis.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads best practice across styling team
  • Has clear attention to detail in styling direction and leads a team in this manner
  • Develops, manages and delivers to the team brand customer profiles and ensures that this is present through styling choices
  • Updates customer profile seasonally and works with the team to deliver refreshes
  • Ensure that product moves through studio in a seamless manner, managing the team to be able to deliver this
  • Set the styling direction for the brand and manage the team to deliver this
  • Provide feedback daily to the team to ensure that best practice is being followed
  • Coordinate with buying regularly to ensure new product and trends are being styled appropriately in the agreed direction
  • Be engrained in styling trends and fully abreast of competitors to ensure the brand is staying relevant at all times
  • Works collaboratively with studio manager on daily selections for website, ensuring that model imagery is at a premium level and reflective of the brands identity
  • Work collaboratively with studio manager to ensure both teams are fully supporting each other to ensure professional delivery of tasks
  • Assist on creative projects derived from the UK (when applicable) including press days, TV shoots, campaign shoots
  • Work collaboratively with the LA based Creative Director to ensure consistency across ecomm shot in both markets and shared learnings from creative shoots are reflected in on site styling

Managing the Team:

  • Understands, communicates, and manages employees to achieve the goals of the organisation.
  • Utilises leaderships skills and motivation techniques to maximise employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Monitors the team’s overall service and team work daily and identifies and implements strategies to increase service delivery/productivity.
  • Establishes and delivers effective communication strategies within the department.
  • Leads by example in all work related activities, acting as a role model for employees.
  • Proactively delivers job related training for all department members.
  • Encourages, develops and manages effective employee relations across all areas of the business.
