The role

An exciting role based at our DC in Burnley, you would be leading on internal recruitment and coordinating / managing our external providers and partners. This is a fast-paced role, including high volume entry-level recruitment and higher-skilled, niche talent acquisition across supply chain and customer services.

Key areas

  • Proactively source candidates from a variety of platforms such as job board applications, social media, internal and external referrals, CV databases and more
  • Manage candidates throughout the entire recruitment process including sourcing, shortlisting, pre-screening, scheduling interviews, providing feedback for successful and unsuccessful candidates, pre-offer and offer process and on boarding
  • Build ‘talent pools’ and ensure a healthy pipeline for future requirements
  • Support with our D&I strategy in regards to attraction and selection
  • Capturing competitor analysis to ensure our EVP is strong within the local market
  • Supporting with developing boohoo’s employer brand in the local area
  • Assessing suitability of candidates within a pre-screen interview in line with the requirements of the business and arrange interviews accordingly
  • Work closely with hiring managers and providing first-class service
  • Working on continuous attrition initiatives from a talent acquisition perspective to help improve the recruiting and on boarding process
  • Placing job adverts on internal and external platforms
  • Providing updates to a variety of stakeholders, including recruitment data metrics
  • Conducting interview and selection training for hiring managers to ensure a consistently high standard of interviewing and engagement for all candidates
  • Ensuring our candidate journey with boohoo is fun and professional, through continuous review and feedback

What are we looking for in you?

  • You will be a credible recruiter who is looking for an exciting opportunity to further develop your career within an in-house role
  • You will have a minimum of 3-4 years recruitment experience within either a busy recruitment consultancy dealing with volume recruitment or ideally a busy in-house talent acquisition team recruiting for volume requirements for various lines of business
  • Experience of recruiting for customer service and logistics positions is highly desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of ATS
  • Experience and knowledge of working with a variety of job board and social media platforms for sourcing talent
  • Experience of using LinkedIn for headhunting campaigns and networking
  • Experience of managing candidates throughout the full cycle process from sourcing to interviewing, pre-offer to offer process and on-boarding
  • Confident to engage with stakeholders at various levels
