Reporting to the Group Ecommerce Director, this role is responsible for the trading activity on each of boohoo web and app sites with further international expansion planned. You will manage the execution of the promotional plan across all web and app, working closely with the Ecommerce Trade team to ensure all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan. This involves managing the online shopping experience across key global markets delivering against customer expectations and meeting business performance KPIs.


A key part of your role will be supporting the launch of new websites, working closely with teams across the wider business such as IT, Marketing and Merchandising. You will then work closely with the Ecommerce Trading team to manage the ongoing performance and trading of these websites.


A key part of trading is understanding performance. You will use web analytics tools and work with the Insight Team to monitor performance of all the key elements of the website to understand the success of the promotional activity, making recommendations for change daily.


This role requires a strong commercial flair and strong communication and organisation skills.


Key responsibilities:

         Working alongside the wider ecommerce teams, you will be expected to ensure clear, cohesive brand representation on site. 

         You will have a strong understanding of the trading performance across all web and app sites (banner clicks, traffic behaviour, conversion triggers etc) and feed this into the key directional and trade meetings to use as a basis to make decisions around the promotional plan and campaign execution.

         Working alongside the ecommerce trade team, you will be responsible for feeding in the promotional plan across desktop, tablet, mobile and app devices.

         As part of your role you will be expected to work closely with the UX, Trade and VM teams to ensure a smooth user journey and on-site experience.

         Using web analytics tools and working with the Insight Team, you will monitor performance of all the key elements of the website to understand the success of the promotional programme. Making recommendations for change and feeding this back to other managers, Head of Department and Directors as appropriate.

         Mapping, prioritising and testing web development tickets and playing a key role in future web re-platform projects

         Working closely with the brand teams to brief and build engaging campaigns.

         Lead, assist or be the key contact for the Ecommerce and wider business projects and process improvements.

         Contribute to system integrations managing and building in Ecommerce requirements and best practice.

         Working closely with the marketing teams to achieve sales and brand awareness targets. 

·       You will be responsible for full site audits, ensuring all current stock is displayed online correctly.

·       You will conduct regular competitor activity reviews across both retail stores and online to understand the market place and environment.

·       Attend conferences, seminars, webinars and networking events as required to stay on top of new functionality, developments, strategies and best practice

·       Constantly reviewing new functionality/improvements related to trading, optimisation and UX/UI
