About the role

**This position is part time with the contracted 16 hours expected to be worked from Friday – Sunday. A rough guide of working hours may be Friday 10:00am-4:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-2:30pm, Sunday 10am-2pm. These 16 hours can be split across the three days as decided by yourself and manager **

  • The eCommerce assistant is responsible for working alongside the Product team to ensure that targets are met, and new stock is exposed to sale in a timely and correct manner.
  • This is a fast-paced role with a key responsibility of publishing and merchandising new in products across all territories.
  • Working to support the eComm Assistants, Copywriters and Visual Merchandisers to streamline workload and ensure the upload process is smooth – working to overcome any potential blockers and continually striving to improve the process.
  • Building relationships with all areas of the business to prepare for stock drops will be crucial to deliver new products accurately, in a timely manner and to a high standard.

What you’ll do

  • Working alongside buying & studio to collate a product list for publishing targets.
  • Oversee the uploading of products to the website.
  • Merchandise the new in categories across all territories.
  • Manage taxonomy of products, ensuring all products are assigned to correct categories and upsells.
  • Support other areas of the team when needed regarding product processing
  • Provide the Lead eCommerce assistant with support in larger business projects
  • Undertaking alternative duties within the department as dictated by business demands, work load levels and under direction Lead eCommerce assistant.

What’ve you got

  • Understanding of the user behaviour and the ecommerce landscape
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines, often while working independently
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred experience with Magento & Akeneo
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
